Theresa and Jim were well known book publishers and collectors in College Station. They began The Creative Publishing Company to share their love of American West and to support the writers whose books told the stories of the men and women who settled the vast landscape of the early West. Gunfighters, lawmen, cattle ranchers, shop keepers, cowboys and gamblers lived and fought and died in this fascinating era and through their experiences we get an understanding of what life was like in those early days.
The collection spans more than 4,600 books and hundreds of periodicals. But the collection is not limited to The Old West stories. There are books on photography, art, cooking, war, engineering, history, Disney, guns, and travel. Mystery, science, biographies, atlases, coffee table, reference and hundreds of books that defy classification.
We have spent several weeks pricing all of the volumes with penciled prices and our initials. Our goal was to select price points that were below any price you can find for any of these volumes anywhere else. Our guarantee is that if you can find any volume, in the same condition, that has sold for a less price anywhere we will match that price.
A vast majority of the books are First Editions. Many of the books are signed and they are all in collector worthy condition, with many having Mylar protected covers. Limited Editions, Signed Editions, Leather Bound Editions, rare sets and books with significant provenance are throughout the shelves and waiting to be found again.
We have chosen the volumes on the following pages as examples of the wide range of subjects and interests that are available in the collection. We look forward to each of you spending time to search out books that will interest you and know you will be amazed by the quality and value of these offerings.
